

Dr. Arun Keepanasseril, MDS, MSc (eHealth)

Dr. Arun Keepanasseril is a unique health professional with expertise in systems design, information management and research methods. Throughout his career, Arun has been involved in conceptualizing, implementing, and managing transformational research-oriented health information system projects.
He is currently serving as the Project Manager for Canadian Bleeding Disorder Registry and an Assistant Professor (Part Time) in the department of Health Research Methods, Evidence, and Impact (HEI) at McMaster University, Hamilton Ontario. Owned by Association of Hemophilia Clinic Director’s Association of Canada (AHCDC) and implemented across 23 Hemophilia Treatment Centers in Canada, CBDR is the national registry and specialized information system for bleeding disorders in Canada. The registry and its research extension CBDR-R has created a unique research ecosystem encouraging prospective and retrospective real-world evidence generation. Arun teaches in the Health Research Methods (HRM), Master of Science in eHealth and Master of Public Health (MPH) program at McMaster University. He is also an adjunct faculty in public health at Amrita University, India.
In his advisory roles for Hemalytic, Dr. Keepanasseril is called upon to provide key strategic inputs related to feasibility and implementation of various projects that the organization may undertake. He also provides clinical insights and commentary as required for Hemalytic undertakings.
